Back in lockdown with mayonnaise

So a couple of things are happening at the moment which I think are important for me to share.

Firstly, I tried mayonnaise for the first time recently when the techie humans weren’t looking, and I have decided that it is my new favourite food so I shout whenever the humans get it from the magic food giver known as “the fridge”.

My humans still haven’t learnt that I like to eat the same food as them, and at the table. I will continue to work on this flaw of theirs.

Secondly, I have taken up the hobby of bird watching from the living room window. I can’t actually be bothered to catch them, but I enjoy staying warm near the radiator as I chatter at them.

Thirdly, I overheard my humans talking and apparently Bridgend is back in lockdown.

It doesn’t have as much of an impact on us furry folk, but I’m still making sure I only go out to use my fancy herb garden toilet and I take a mask in case I bump into the neighbouring cats.

I know my humans are also wearing the masks when they go out.

I overheard them reading the news which was saying about people starting to panic buy in other areas of the UK – I hope my humans can still buy me treats… and mayonnaise.

I’m looking forward to being able to attend church again, albeit virtually. I still struggle to sign into the laptop, but I’m starting to get the hang of it – even without thumbs.
